Description

The objective of this procurement is for the purchase and installation of components to replace the existing out of date substation behind the Mine Simulation Lab located at the National Mine Health and Safety Academy, and to purchase and install components to upgrade the power center in the electrical lab. This upgrade is needed to provide students with the most updated equipment for training.



The Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, materials, supervision, permits, licensure, and any other incidentals to perform the work required with the Statement of Work. It is expected that the Contractor may need to attend a site visit to conduct an overall assessment and to determine appropriate steps. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
