The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to solicit proposals in response to request for proposal (RFP) 70B06C23R00000004 for Level IIIA Body Armor. The Government anticipates making multiple contract award(s) on an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) resulting from this solicitation. The anticipated contract(s) will be issued with a seven (7) year ordering period. All items are defined in the statement of work (SOW), which will be included with the RFP.

The RFP will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 315990, (Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing). The SBA size standard is up to 500 employees. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about December 1, 2022. Potential proposers MUST register at https://beta.sam.gov in over to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.
