This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), is seeking information on a potential requirement for a blanket purchase agreement to supply contractor- owned gas cylinders to the Field Studies Branch at the NIOSH Morgantown campus on an as needed basis throughout the performance period.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 75D301-23-Q-76590 using FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04, effective June 02, 2023.

This requirement is solicited as a FULL and OPEN Competition. NAICS code 325120 – Industrial Gas Manufacturing.

The CDC intends to award a single award firm fixed priced Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a base period and four (2) one year options. The government reserves the right to award any, all, or none of the options under this requirement.

The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision.

This award will be made to the offer under the conditions found in FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items.
