Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide Hillrom Nursecall additions. This requirement is defined primary by existing hardware already in use at the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center.
BACKGROUND
Furnish all parts, material, travel/shipping to and from for Hillrom Nursecall additions.

SCOPE
Purpose
The Martinsburg VAMC is looking to expand it nursecall capabilities throughout the hospital. The purpose of this procurement is to replace and expand nursecall into the community living center (CLC) and public bathrooms. Nursecall allows for staff to respond to patients efficiently and can help prevent adverse events. Placing nursecall into public bathrooms helps the Martinsburg VAMC become a high reliability organization (HRO) and focuses on commitment to resilience.
Hours of Operation
Normal hours of coverage are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Central Standard Time excluding national holidays. Equipment shall be delivered during normal hours unless otherwise scheduled with the COR or his/her designee.

Contractor responsibilities
Must provide clinical training for a maximum of four days
All cabling must be ran back to a Hill-Rom switch
Conduit must be provided for 1st, 2nd, and 5th floor installation
Must run CAT6A cables
Must install all equipment and cabling on the 1st floor, 2nd floor, 5th floor, and serenity house
Must terminate, test, and label all cables that are ran back to the Hill-Rom switch
Must ensure new switch and devices communicate with servers
Must program all new equipment onto the VA provided virtual servers

Deliverables or Delivery Schedule
The vendor shall deliver the product. After contacting COR (or COR designee) at the VA, a specific time will be scheduled for the delivery of the product within 60 days of award. All quantities are listed above that should be delivered.
