LAUNDRY EQUIPMENT REPAIR
LOUIS A. JOHNSON VA MEDICAL CENTER
The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center is conducting this Sources Sought to identify contractors who possess capabilities to provide the services described in the Statement of Work below.

As permitted by the FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for the informational and planning purposes. Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy.

Response is strictly voluntary it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in formal RFQ process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence our acquisition strategy. All interested parties will be required to respond separately to any solicitation posted as a result of this sources sought notice.
Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. We appreciate your interest and thank you in advance for responding to the sources sought.

This service will be implemented using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811412.

If a small business is interested in this procurement, they must provide at least 51 percent of the services rendered.

NOTES
All Capability Statements/Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be submitted via email only to tracy.kute@va.gov. Telephone, Fax, or any other form of communication inquiries will not be reviewed or accepted. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be received no later than November 23, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). This Sources Sought Notice may or may not assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it may or may not be announced at a later date, and all interested parties shall respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this Sources Sought Notice.

Statement of Work
General intention: It is the general intention of the Louis A. Johnson VAMC located in Clarksburg, WV 26301 to obtain the required parts and labor for the following industrial laundry equipment:

Colmac Steam Tunnel, SN D1202001-112712CFA03: Check valves providing steam are clogged. Parts: (3) repair kits, PN NP-999-YH7.

Braun Spreader Feeder, SN MP4SSF-MP119940244: Only one side of bearing is working and the bearing housing is damaged. Parts: (1) each 81-241-S Roll-N-Cup splt Al 12 Del Conv 57-1/2 x 2 outboard bearings 42-400 inboard bearing 52-207, PN NP-040-060500052; (2) each 52-400 Hanger bearing with 1 housing, PN NP-040-030100030.

Cissel Dryers, SN CT170SREF6K2W03-1407014579, -1407014576 & -1407014580: Filters are dirty and need to be replaced quarterly. Part: (12) each Air filters 15x39x1 CSH, PN NP-245-H96362264.

Milnor Washer Extractor, SN 60044SPZ-12659016: Exhaust vent tubes for washing machine chemicals are worn and in need of replacement; belts worn out and ball valve is leaking. Parts: (9) each Vbelt Bx62 COG, PN NP-220-56VB062X; (1) each 2.00 watts ball valve ACT/BR/NC/ST/LH, PN NP-220-96D088BCSL; (2) each High temp flexible duct hose 6in (sold by the foot), PN NP-999-5K26; (2) each Hose clamp 5.5in x 7 in, PN NP-999-5K38.

Milnor Washer Extractor, SN 60044SPZ-14649692: Vbelts and exhaust vent tubes for washing machine chemicals are worn and in need of replacement. Parts: (9) each Vbelt BX62 COG, PN NP-220-56VB062X; (2) each High temp flexible duct hose 6in (sold by the foot), PN NP-999-5K26; (2) each Hose clamp 5.5in x 7 in, PN NP-999-5K38.

Energenics Lint Scrubber 8000: Media rolls need to be replaced. Part: (1) each Energenics media roll (2 rolls 50yd ea/2 take-up tubes) 42 w, PN NP-090-80009.

Requirements of contractor: Contractor will provide all parts and labor to make repairs.

Requirements of parts and service replacement: Contractor will remove all defective parts and replace with new factory parts, to manufacturer s specifications.

Delivery: Contractor will source and provide all parts required within 30 days of contract award.
