Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, a solicitation announcement may or may not be published in FedBizOpps (FBO) or GSA ebuy.

Installation/Programming

Vendor is responsible for installing the two (2) radios into our ambulances. Vendor is also responsible for programming the radios once installation is complete.

Testing

Vendor is responsible for testing the mobile radios for effective transmission and reception for a fully operational system within ultimate completion date.

Encryption Capability

Radios/system must be able to be encrypted to allow for secure communication. Additionally, the radio/system must be in compliance with WV SIRN System (See below for description of SIRN).

The West Virginia Statewide Interoperable Radio Network is a partnership of municipal, county, state and federal public safety entities to establish and maintain a state wide interoperable radio network. This radio network is comprised of a UHF digital P25 compliant trunked radio system that utilizes some of the latest technologies

Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be received no later than 3/14/24 at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). This Sources Sought notice is to assist the VA in determines sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it may or may not be announced at a later date, and all interested parties shall respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this Sources Sought notice.
